Griffin, John, Thornhill, Sligo and formerly of Clogheen Co. Tipperary, December 31st 2023 after a short illness. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy, Eddy, Gus, sister Betty and son-in-law Justin. Dearly loved husband of Berna and father of Anne-Marie, Grainne and Roisin. He will be remembered with much love by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law Eoin and Conor, his ten grandchildren Jessica, Olivia, Sam, Beth, Daniel, Isobel, Alex, Aisling, Aoibhin and Aran, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Cherished by his relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on Wednesday January 3rd from 5pm with removal to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo at 6:30pm arriving for reception prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday January 4th at 11:30am. Burial follows in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
