Melbourne, Australia and formerly of Tully, Strandhill, Co. Sligo, suddenly on May 25th 2025 in Melbourne, Australia.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Dianne, son James, parents Jimmy and Rosaleen, brothers Frankie and James, sisters Niamh and Aislinn, parents-in-law Tony and Vivien, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and his wide circle of friends in Australia and Sligo.
May he rest in peace.
Michael's Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, June 21st in Saint Patricks Church, Strandhill, Co. Sligo at 11am and will be livestreamed via

Interment immediately afterwards in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
House private please on Saturday morning.

To Michaels Family, I had the pleasure of meeting Michael through mutual friends in Melbourne. From the moment I met him, his warm presence stood outhe was always so inviting and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel at ease. His big smile and genuine care for others drew people to him effortlessly. Michael loved his family, missed his family in Ireland and loved chatting about rugby. Michaels sudden passing is a shock to us all, and its hard to put into words how deeply saddened we are. He had a beautiful way of bringing people together, and his kindness, humour, and light-hearted spirit will be remembered always. Please accept my deepest condolences. I didnt know Micky particularly well, however on the number of occasions that I was in Mickys company prior to his move to Australia , Micky was up there with the happiest man in Ireland and he Always raised the mood of all in his company . Taken from us way too soon! One of lifes true Gentlemen
