Freda Monaghan (née Mannion), ‘Glebe House’, Rathcormac, Drumcliffe, Co. Sligo, 12th November 2025, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ken, parents Lily and Paddy Joe and brother Gerard. Dearly loved mother of Kenneth (Maria), Colin (Nancy), Ailbhe (Myles Kelly) and Ciara (Leigh McLoughlin). She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughters, sisters Noeleen, Martha, Hilary and Dervla, brother Padraig, cherished grandchildren James, Ellen, Liam, Jessica, Harry, Charlie, Rónan, Conor, Mia, Ellie and Lauren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many great friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) from 6:00pm to 8.00pm on Friday, 14th November. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in Saint Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormac, Co. Sligo at 10am on Saturday, 15th November. Funeral Mass will be livestreamed via www.churchservices.tv/rathcormac Burial follows in Rathcormac Cemetery. Family home private please.
