Duggan, Myra (née McGowan), ‘Cecile’ 25 Thornhill, Sligo, January 20th 2022 peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Alfie and mother of Ian, Joss, Vinnie, Martina (Flynn), Paul (Lackagh, Co. Galway), Mairéad (Roemer) and the late Gerry and grandmother of the late Bobby (Roemer). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Seán, Charlie, Francie, Nan O’Rourke and Rose Barrett. Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Ellen Leydon (New York), brothers Thomas (Dromahair) and Bernard (Portmarnock), in-laws, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at the family home at ‘Cecile’ 25 Thornhill, Sligo (F91X5NE) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm on Friday January 21st. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11.30am on Saturday January 22nd in Saint Anne’s Church, Sligo. Burial follows in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Covid restrictions apply at all times at the family home, church and cemetery, with no handshaking, maskwearing and social distancing. Home private outside of reposing times.
