Scanlon, John (Johnny), Kinsellagh, Calry, Co. Sligo and formerly of Bridge Street, Sligo, suddenly at Sligo University Hospital after a short illness on March 12th 2021. Predeceased by his parents John and Annie and brothers Gerard and Dessie. Dearly loved husband of Sadie (née Curran) and cherished father of John, Vicki and Stephen. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, his adored grandchildren Victoria, Jack, Seán, Kayne and Sarah, brother Seamus, sister Ann Harrison, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace. Mass of the Resurrection at 12noon on Monday March 15th in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Burial follows in St.Patrick’s Cemetery, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions funeral Mass and burial are private to family. Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.sligocathedral.ie. Family home strictly private please.
